YES NO Of course, all of these creatures are quite a bit bigger than the ones that you've been used to in the original Zoo Tycoon experience. The T-Rex is enormous compared to pretty much everything else in the game and just begs to be let out of his cage into the path of some unsuspecting tourists. All of them are pretty detailed looking and come in pretty appropriate sizes. You'll see everything from the giant T-Rex and the pack-hunting Velociraptor to the Sabertooth Tiger and the Wooly Mammoth. You'll see over 20 different types of prehistoric creatures throughout the game, all with different personalities and needs. They aren't skimping on the species either. Dinosaur Digs, as the name most excellently implies, will give all those fans out there a chance to bring dinosaurs and other prehistoric beasts into their zoos.
While there're a lot of distractions in the form of Satan beckoning us towards the craps tables and the strip clubs, we did manage to look at some dinosaurs too. The game was actually announced a while back, but we hadn't seen it running complete with dinosaurs and mayhem until today when we got a look at it at Microsoft's International Games Festival, which is taking the place of their usual Gamestock conference. We all saw what happened when they tried to do that in Jurassic Park, but who knows, maybe you can do better and keep the body count down to three or four. The expansion, entitled Dinosaur Digs, will bring anyone daring enough into the realm of enclosing dinosaurs in small enclosures for your amusement. Adding to the list is an expansion for Zoo Tycoon, Microsoft's foray into the cacophony of economic sim games. There's not much that says the tide is going to stop anytime soon with games like stinky Mall Tycoon and the fun and frolicky SimGolf recently being released and others like the Airport Tycoon expansion on the way. eager audiences over the last couple of years was pretty undeniable.
